When will I see results?
Although each client is different, we find that FE clients achieve noticeable changes as soon as they start diligently and consistently applying the tools we provide them. Since each client's approach is unique, the biggest common factor at play is your willingness to change your behavior and start do something different.
Will I have a dedicated personal coach?
At Functional Effect we work as a team. This allows our clients to have time flexibility and 6 heads are definitely better than 1.
What if I have pain when I workout?
One of the biggest goals of our programming at Functional Effect is to eliminate pain. Starting with your assessment, our team will be building you a custom program which takes your injury history and pain into consideration. When building your program we will assign exercises which safely and effectively strengthen your body and decrease your risk of pain or future injury.
How often do I need to workout?
The answer to this question depends on YOU! At Functional Effect we feel that the best program is the one you can stick to. In general, we recommend getting 30 minutes of active time each day and 4 workouts per week.
Do I need to change the way I eat to see results?
Yes and YES! Nutrition is the foundation of any physical transformation, and you simply can't out-exercise a bad diet. Our clients achieve amazing results by applying the basic principles of The Functional 5 or by working 1-on-1 with a coach.
Once I get great results, can I stop working out and eating healthy?
Although it would be great, you aren't going to be able to keep your results if you simply return to your former habits. Results require daily, continual reactivation of those newfound behaviors. Because of this, we choose to teach our clients realistic and sustainable practices that they can maintain for a lifetime.
